Big ten StudentU

As a Big Ten StudentU worker, I am part of USC’s fully student-run live sports broadcast program. In this program, students take on real, professional-level roles to produce USC athletic events streamed on B1G+ and televised rebroadcasts. We are a true broadcast environment, giving students hands-on responsibility across every stage of production, from pre-game setup to live execution.

Within this environment, I operate cameras and contribute across directing, replay, and graphics during live broadcasts. I collaborate closely with fellow students and industry professionals to ensure each production runs smoothly and meets broadcast standards. Being part of an all-student-run crew has pushed me to work under pressure, communicate clearly in live settings, and take ownership of my role in delivering high-quality sports coverage.

I’ve also helped produce B1G+ broadcasts that were selected for Big Ten Network encore re-air, serving in roles including producer, replay operator, and camera operator on productions averaging 75,000+ viewers.
