What is Trojan Vision?

Trojan Vision is USC’s entirely student-run television and digital media organization and is formally listed in the course catalog as CTPR-409. The class operates as a real production studio, where students create original programming by students, for students. Through game shows, talk shows, live events, and short-form digital content, participants gain hands-on experience across every stage of production, including development, directing, camera operation, editing, and distribution. The course mirrors a professional working environment while emphasizing collaboration, leadership, and gives students practical, real-world experience producing content that reflects campus culture at the University of Southern California.

As Executive Producer of The Major Question, a USC-based game show developed in a class led by legendary producer JD Roth, I helped oversee the project from development through the final cut of every episode. The show challenges campus stereotypes by putting two students head-to-head as they try to guess each other’s major based on first impressions and educated guesses. I managed pre-production, filming, and post-production to ensure a smooth workflow and strong execution throughout the show. I’m incredibly proud of this crew and everything we pulled off. The show’s website even includes a play-along feature for each episode, letting viewers test themselves and see if they can answer the Major Question too, which I highly recommend checking out.  As Showrunner of The Ultimate Trojan, I served as a high-level decision maker overseeing the project from concept through execution. The show centers on a simple but competitive question: who really knows USC better, the students who just arrived or the ones about to graduate? By pitting freshmen against seniors in a fast-paced showdown of campus knowledge, traditions, and culture, the series celebrates what it means to be a Trojan while tapping into the shared experiences that define life at USC. In this role, I guided creative direction, production decisions, and overall show flow to ensure the series was engaging, polished, and built for a student audience.
